Living Thankful Series
Have you noticed that people seem less friendly and tend to complain more than in the past?
That makes us wonder, what might happen if the body of Christ, chose gratitude and thankfulness over entitlement and complaint?
Let’s find out!
Attached below is a daily reading schedule to remind you to live thankfully every day in the month of November. Let’s all join in this together and make November the month of Thanksgiving!
Also, November 7th, 14th, and 21st there will be a special series of messages titled "Living Thankful".

April 18 Covid Letter
Dear brothers and sisters,
We are grateful to God for all of you. Your steadfast faith throughout the past year has been such a blessing to us. Thank you for your continued prayers and words of encouragement.
As mentioned in a previous letter, we have been looking toward the time when we would make some changes in our times of meeting and Covid safety protocols. At last we have some specific changes and dates to give you.
Beginning Sunday May 2nd we will change our meeting times to the following:
8:00AM Worship service with social distancing and masks (same protocols as currently observed at 8:30).
9:00AM Bible classes with same safety protocols as currently in place.
10:00 AM Worship service with same safety protocols as currently in place except we will resume full number of songs.
Then, two weeks after that...
Beginning Sunday May 16th we will make the following changes in safety protocol.
8:00AM Worship service will continue as it currently is with social distancing and masks.
9:00AM Class in the auditorium will remain social distanced and masks. Other adult classes will be masks optional.
10:00AM worship service will become masks optional.
Finally, if you desire to get one, vaccines are now widely available in Bowling Green. The Medical Center is accepting a limited number of walk-ins, and you can schedule with any of the vaccine providers in town if you are above the age of 16. We recommend that high-risk individuals attend the early service and auditorium class.
May the Lord bless and keep you all

Join us for worship online this Sunday at 10:00AM and 5:00PM
Due to Covid-19 and the recommendation of state and federal officials, we will not be meeting at the building this Sunday. Please watch the following short video as one of our elders explains that this is not drawing back in fear, but taking action out of love for others.
1. We are loving our neighbors by protecting our neighbors (Luke 6:31). Large gatherings are known to promote the rapid spread of the virus.
2. We are being responsible, not fearful (Matthew 10:16). We are not afraid to die, but will not knowingly put others at risk.

Face to Face with the Glory That Transforms #8 Through the Eyes of Disappointment
The past few months have been tough on many of us. We’ve seen a lot of loss, pain, and disappointment. This past Sunday we looked at Jesus through the disappointed eyes of John to seek an answer to stabilize our souls and re-frame our hope.
This Sunday we will continue our series of encounters with Jesus that we're calling “Face to Face with the Glory that Transforms.”
